This unsettling amulet appears to be made from mummified sinew, and features a withered eye that occasionally darts around. Feordin found it after defeating some goblins early in his adventuring career.

When worn for 24 hours, it bonds with the wearer, making him more perceptive (+2 to Spot and Search checks).

Feordin eventually realized that its powers could be improved by investing it with vital energy (1 point of CON damage for an additional +4 to Spot and Search). He has not yet taken advantage of this feature.
